Growing with Ampol: A journey across the Tasman

Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate to experience three moves with Ampol - each one offering a new chapter, both professionally and personally.

Each move has broadened my perspective. I’ve had the chance to work across different parts of the organisation, gaining insight into diverse markets, cultures, and challenges. It’s been a rewarding way to grow my skillset while learning from a wide range of leaders with unique approaches and backgrounds—experiences that have challenged my own thinking on leadership.

What’s made each transition easier has been the warm welcome we’ve received—at work and in the community. Cultural adjustments do take time, but we’ve learned to navigate them with patience, and the support from colleagues has made a big difference.

I remember asking about international opportunities early in my Ampol career, at a time when the business was more domestically focused. It’s been incredible to now have these opportunities available within the Group, without needing to leave the organisation.

These moves have not only advanced my career—they’ve enriched our lives as a family. I’m grateful for every experience and excited for what’s ahead.
