From Graduate into an Energy career

I studied a Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in Marketing Management at Macquarie University. Ampol stood out to me because of its strong Australian heritage, company culture, and wide variety of opportunities.

I completed the B2B Sales & Marketing Graduate Program, and my rotations were across Bid Management, Strategic Sales, and Lubricants Marketing.

A key highlight was project leading a diesel and lubricants tender, where I collaborated with different stakeholders across the business expanding my network.

Another positive experience was traveling to Brisbane for our first customer renewable diesel trial, where I gained in-field customer engagement experience as well as being able to see our supply chain process up close. I was also given the opportunity to manage the 50-year anniversary event for our Mobil 1 product, where I developed my event and stakeholder management skills.

The learnings and experience gained within the graduate program has allowed me to take the next step in my career journey into a permanent position within our Energy Solutions side of the business as the Hydrogen & Next Generation Fuels Coordinator. Ampol has supported both my personal and professional growth, enabling me to have diverse experiences within a dynamic industry!
