A graduate journey in Retail Property & Construction

After completing a Bachelor of Business Management at UQ in 2022, the opportunity to join Ampol was available which provided the ability to progress my career in the Retail Property & Construction stream.

The Ampol Graduate Program provided the opportunity to join a top Australian company that is multi-functional and provides exposure for learning and development.

The program provided an end-to-end experience of bringing a retail site to life from Network Planning & Real Estate to Construction & Property Portfolio. From identifying the right site, to developing the plans, to managing the construction of the site to finally managing the property has introduced the methods for successfully creating and maintaining a retail site network.

The highlight of the program has been to travel, observe and identify the sites and markets across Australia that Ampol operates and be a part of constantly growing organisation.

The support of leadership, colleagues and fellow graduates throughout the program provided key learning opportunities and development that allowed the Ampol graduate program to be a successful organisation for career growth.
