People & Culture is focused on supporting our people and includes Employee Experience, Talent Acquisition. Payroll, Business Partnering and more. We are a diverse team and work across both Z and the Ampol Group.

 

About the role
Joining us in this newly created role your role will be varied and include supporting a range of activities. I might be slightly biased, but our People & Culture team is a pretty great team to be part of! You will be kept busy with a range of tasks, work with a wide range of people, learn lots of systems and processes and work in a truly people focused environment.

 

If you have some Human Resources knowledge and experience that you are keen to build on and are keen for a new challenge we would love to kōrero!

 

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

 

You will have the opportunity to

  • Support Talent Acquisition with organising interviews, pre-employment checks, communications, letters and more
  • Work with our wider People Hub team and support our Business Partners with the creation of Position Descriptions
  • Support with projects and initiatives as required
  • Work with our Payroll team on documentation and changes
  • Complete financial administration tasks
  • Assist with actioning HR tasks as part of the People Hub
     

What you’ll bring to Z

  • Knowledge of HR systems and processes with demonstrated experience (1-2 years) in an HR focused role
  • A passion for People & Culture and keenness to learn
  • Excellent administrative skills using the Microsoft Suite with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, you will work across the P&C team as well as with external stakeholders
  • Experience with ATS, onboarding and payroll systems specifically SmartRecruiters, PayGlobal and RedCarpet would be advantageous
  • The ability to organise your workload with multiple requests and deadlines

The base salary range for this role is $65,100 to $76,550 per annum, we also offer a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
