About the role

 

Join our Space and Range team and play a critical role in shaping how our stores come to life. The role will be an 18 month contract, with the potential to extend.

As a Space and Range Planner, you’ll use data, insights and merchandising principles to optimise store layouts, planograms and space allocation – directly impacting store performance and profitability.

You’ll work closely with Category Managers and key stakeholders to bring our merchandise strategy to life across a diverse store network.

 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain planograms aligned to category and merchandising strategies
  • Manage macro space planning across store segments
  • Analyse performance data and provide insights to improve range and layout decisions
  • Support range reviews and present findings to key stakeholders
  • Maintain reporting across systems (Blue Yonder, Power BI, SAP BW)
  • Collaborate across teams to support new store formats and initiatives
  • Act as a trusted advisor on space planning processes and best practice

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in space planning, merchandising, buying, or retail analytics
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools (Power BI highly regarded)
  • Experience with Blue Yonder/JDA or similar space planning tools preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
