About the role
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity within Ampol’s Energy Solutions team, open to candidates based in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne or New Zealand. As the Marketing Owner, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering eMobility marketing outcomes for small and large business customers.
You will lead the development and execution of marketing strategy across Australia and New Zealand, driving awareness, customer acquisition and engagement programs for our business customers. Working cross-functionally with product and commercial teams, you’ll deliver impactful campaigns, go-to-market launches and customer experiences that support Ampol’s growth in the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute portfolio marketing strategy across Australia and New Zealand 
  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels 
  • Support go-to-market product and program launches within the eMobility portfolio 
  • Partner with product and commercial teams to align marketing activity to revenue and growth targets 
  • Manage campaign performance, budgets and optimisation to deliver strong commercial outcomes 
  • Lead agency relationships across creative and media to ensure high-quality campaign delivery 
  • Collaborate across customer communications and internal teams to deliver a consistent customer experience 
  • Track, analyse and report on campaign performance and sales outcomes

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years’ marketing experience, ideally within a B2B environment 
  • Experience developing and delivering customer value propositions 
  • Proven track record executing integrated marketing campaigns and go-to-market plans 
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience using insights to optimise campaign performance 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills 
  • Strong communication, organisation and project management capability 
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments 
  • Understanding of the transport, energy or related sectors is advantageous 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline
