About Financial Operations
The Finance Operations Team is made up of four key areas - Accounts Payable, Credit and Accounts Receivable, Purchasing and Financial Risk/Treasury support. They are responsible for managing the financial transactions that flow in and out of Z. Our Credit team are responsible for assessing creditworthiness of new and existing customers, receipting daily payments and collection action on any unpaid accounts.
About the role
At Z we love to develop and grow our people. As the result of an internal secondment, we have an opening for a skilled Kaitātari Moni Taurewa Credit Analyst to join the Z whānau in a fixed term role starting asap for six months.
Working within our Credit & Accounts Receivable team you will be proactively monitoring and reviewing Z customers from a credit risk perspective and making recommendations to mitigate credit risk. You will also contribute to processes improvement for new initiatives related to enabling Z’s strategy.

You will have the opportunity to
- Assist the Credit & AR Team Leader in developing clear credit risk reduction strategies and ensuring these are implemented into business and credit processes
- Monitor the credit portfolio to ensure the accounts are trading within the agreed trading terms
- Recommend efficient and automated processes and ensure these enable Z to deliver against our strategy
- Compile monthly and ad-hoc reports for the credit function and assist with preparation of financial month end credit processes
What you’ll bring to Z
- Demonstrated credit and collections experience
- Strong understanding of the fundamentals of assessing credit risk
- Working knowledge of JDE would be advantageous
- A strong focus on continuous and process improvement
- The ability to quickly and critically assess complex information to identify issues and make recommendations that add value
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent communication skills to work with a range of stakeholders
- The ability to commit to a fixed term contract

The base salary range for this role is $73,600 to $86,550 per annum, we also offer a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
