About the role: 
 
  
You’ll operate as an end-to-end Product Manager role focused on building out the Ampol Groups private charging business,  everything from feature design through to physical chargers for customer sites, including the digital layer via our Charge Point Management System (CPMS). You'll drive quarterly roadmaps, own the product backlog, and act as the conduit between Business strategy and delivery, bringing together cross-functional squads to build our product capability  
 

Key Responsibilities 

• Own the product roadmap for private charging, spanning both physical charging products and the digital ecosystem, 
• Lead the design and development of fleet focused charging experience, working closely with Business stakeholders in Sales, Customer, Tech and Data and Assets  
• Define and shape early-phase products from the ground up, establishing processes, standards and foundations where they don't yet exist 
• Coordinate cross-functional squads across the business through quarterly planning, ensuring all dependencies are identified, aligned and prioritised 
• Manage RFP and vendor selection processes, evaluating solutions through the lens of the broader business portfolio and customer needs 
• Drive product experience end-to-end, from concept through to market strategy, and ongoing reporting through governance forums including Product Demos and SteerCos 

Qualifications & Experience 

• Proven experience in a product management, development or delivery role, ideally across hardware and digital products 
• Background in energy, fleet, EV or electrification is strongly preferred and will be highly regarded 
• Track record of leading across multiple teams and business areas to deliver complex, cross-functional programmes 
• Equally comfortable in technical conversations and stakeholder-facing settings, with strong relationship-building skills across diverse audiences 
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving, build-phase environment
