About the role  

We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Rigid Packed Truck Driver who values safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic to become part of our team at the Rutherford Depot on dayshift. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering packed goods, bulk drums (205L) and IBC’s including some pump in’s safely, efficiently, and sustainably across our region.  

Must haves   

• Commitment to Ampol’s values   

• A minimum HR licence   

• Strong communication (verbal, written and presentation) with persuasive ability to influence change.   

• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.   

• Safety focussed.   

• A current forklift license is a desirable or must be willing to obtain a forklift licence 

• Proficient in operating Electronic Work Diary (EWD) systems via in-vehicle Truck PC technolory 

Nice to haves:   

• Fuel transport industry experience   

• Current DG licence   

• Current SLP licence   

• Operational knowledge of relevant laws and statutes applying to the transport of petroleum products including OH&S, Environmental, Dangerous Goods and Transportation rules and regulations.
