Our Customer Business Unit is focused on just that, our Z Customers and within this team is our skilled, passionate and diverse Marketing group. They work right across the Z Brand ensuring that our marketing is distinctive, relevant and gives people great reasons to choose us!

About the role

At Z we love to develop and grow our people.  As the result of an internal movement, we have an opening for a Kaitaki Whakatairanga Pakihi Marketing Manager Business to join the team asap until the 31st of March 2027.

Your mahi will see you design and deliver database marketing for Z’s business customers. Working closely with our SME team it’s a fast-paced role where you get to pivot quickly to respond to market dynamics and play in both acquisitions and retention marketing.

This role can be based in either Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland or Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.

You will have the opportunity to

• Hold responsibility for delivering on the marketing and communication strategies for our business customers
• Create marketing campaigns to acquire new customers and also to activate and retain our existing customers
• Deliver database marketing campaigns
• At Z we love data and use it to inform our decisions, you will use insights and analytics to deliver and execute a plan to ensure growth within our customer base
• Use Salesforce to deliver messaging and campaigns
• Work closely with our Loyalty and SME teams

What you’ll bring to Z

• We are needing an experienced skilled pair of hands coming into this role, you will need experience in a B2B and loyalty focused marketing role
• You have a passion for database marketing and will be used to both designing and delivering BTL & ATL campaigns, analysing and iterating
• Experience delivering campaigns at pace with the ability to work nimbly and adapt to a changeable market quickly
• Experience using insights and analytics to deliver and execute a plan to ensure growth within our customer base
• And of course, write engaging and beautiful copy!
• Z is a busy place, there is a lot going on here and you will be adept at driving outcomes, influencing stakeholders and managing a range of priorities and deliverables
• The ability to commit to the fixed term contract

The base salary range for this role is $132,100 to $163,222 per annum, we also offer a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
