Z has a clear purpose: Powering better journeys, today and tomorrow. As one of New Zealand’s largest transport energy companies, we have a commitment to delivering safe, secure, and reliable transport energy – with the opportunity to deliver new journeys, with new energy solutions in a changing world.
We are proud to be the Kiwi contingent of Ampol, an independent Trans-Tasman energy company, with trading offices across the globe, which are united behind our shared purpose. While many of the challenges and opportunities we face go beyond national boundaries, together we have the scale, influence, and capability to deliver for our customers, communities, and our people.
About our Customer Business Unit
Our Customer team are focused on exactly that – our Customers! At Z, Customer Experience is at the heart of everything we do - our strategy, capability development and investment decisions. We're creating and continually developing products and digital channels our customers will love and that make their lives easier.
About the role
As part of the Marketing team, you'll help shape the online experience across the Z, Caltex and U-GO websites, ensuring customers can easily find information, engage with our promotions, and access the products and services they need. You'll combine hands-on website management with strategic thinking, using data, customer insight and business priorities to identify opportunities, solve problems and continuously improve performance. You'll manage day-to-day website operations, publish and optimise content, monitor performance, and work across teams to deliver meaningful improvements to the customer experience.
You'll bring experience managing website content, confidence using website analytics and performance data to guide decisions, and a strong understanding of how content, search visibility and user experience work together to achieve great outcomes. You'll be comfortable working with agency, technology and business stakeholders, translating technical information into clear recommendations and influencing decisions that balance customer, brand and commercial priorities.
Working across Marketing, Communications, Technology and external partners, you'll lead website governance, champion content standards and help shape the future direction of our digital channels. Success in this role requires someone who is equally comfortable working in the detail, navigating ambiguity, building strong relationships and bringing others along on the journey
